This is a clock app that re-creates the behavior of a vintage flip clock with a modern and minimal design. On Mac, Fliqlo has long been popular as a screensaver module with the same design since its first release in 2002, and this iOS/iPadOS app is also made with exactly the same design. With its large, highly visible font, you can check the time even from a distance. Also, in everyday life and at work, its modest matt black presence does not distract you or disrupt your productivity, even when using the app for extended periods of time. Its full-screen appearance integrates with the iPhone/iPad device body and blends into your living space ambience, as if it were a minimalist home decor item.

FEATURES:
- Switch between 12/24 hour clock
- Switch between portrait and landscape mode
- Option to show seconds when tapping screen
- Brightness/dimness control inside the app
- Show/hide background tiles
- Enlarge/reduce to any size

NOTES:
- Your device’s Auto-Lock is disabled while this clock is active in the foreground.
- This app does not start automatically like the Mac screensaver.
- You cannot replace your device’s Lock Screen with this clock.

Pros and cons of Fliqlo app for iPhone and iPad

Fliqlo app good for

I absolutely love this app! I purchased it for nostalgia. I used to have one of these old great digital flip clocks and this app emulates it very nicely. I like to open the app and just leave it running and use it for my clock. It is not a screen saver, do not purchase it if you are looking for a screensaver. Nowhere in the description does it claim to be a screen saver. Once again, it Functions exactly as it was intended! I love it!
I cant contact the help desk. I dont understand how your app works. It works if the screen is not locked only ? Can you contact me please ?
The swipe gesture to change the clock from am/pm to 24h is a little bit to hard to find. It took me a while to find out that you have to swipe down on the ”hour”-display. I had this clock for years as a screensaver on my mac. It’s great! Now I use it every night as my clock next to my bed. I bought the clock also to support the developer. Thanks!
Surprised to see no reviews on this. Perfect just like the OS X version. Please keep on updating both! Works perfectly fine with iOS 7! Worth the money...
This is a minimalist app great for putting on your desk/work space to remind you not to procrastinate. Its simple, elegant, and does what the description says: tells the time - and may I say that it is good at it too! Its great for feeling productive and its extremely aesthetically pleasing. Just FYI it is NOT a screensaver app! You will have to physically open it!

Some bad moments

How do you even get this to work for an iMac screensaver? Thats the only reason I bought it...
It is a good idea. But you have to keep ur phone on and it is not a screensaver if I would have known that I wouldnt have bought it
No use for lock screen. Just open the app and look what time it is :S
As a long time fan of the screensaver, I was excited to get this from my phone. A little disappointed to see that it doesnt display in vertical orientation though.
Its just an app you open that flips through the clock, its not a screensaver for your phone, a waste of money
Should have read the description. Did not realize it was an app that had to stay open.
